Hi! My name is Lora and I am a teacher. I teach Spanish & English. I am from Valjevo, Serbia.
And this is my family - my husband Saša and our daughters Kalina, on the left and Emilija, on the right.
P.S. Natasha, does this picture ring a bell? :)
And. my hobby is reading! I also like hiking, traveling, spending time with my dear friends.....and learning about technology!

Dear Lora,
ReplyDeleteWe share all the same hobbies but I'm not so sure about the 'learning about technology'. But I'm trying to make it a hobby! And I think writing blogs and contributing to them is a lot of fun.
Dear Denise,
Deleteit looks like we share a lot of things! Are you sure that on some distant branches of your family tree, there isn't a Serb ancestor sitting? :D
You have a lovely family Lora. The girls look like you don't they? And is that a church I see in the background? For a moment I thought it was taken in Greece but then I noticed the letters on the gate. Mind you, even with the letters it could well be in Greece.
ReplyDeleteThank you Natasha! Yes, they look like me, although younger one is also after my husband. (Some people even say that my husband and I look alike!)
DeleteAnd, yes, the photo was taken in Greece, more precisely at the oil-market in Thessaloniki. This is the Serbian soldiers' graveyard from the World War I. Last summer we spent 10 days in Nei Pori, and we came to visit this place. I always make our vacations part educational, so I wanted my girls to "feel" part of Serbian history (I guess, teacher stays teachers, always!:D)
I knew it. If only I had known you back then we could have met. To tell you the truth, I have no idea where the oil market is in Thessaloniki. Is there another name for it? I've been to Nei Poroi once. I guess I have to visit Serbia on my next vacation ( don't know when). Especially that place in the postcard (Negojo?) with the 462? steps on the Adriatic. I can only hope that one day I'll be so lucky.
